About Many Lights

One Story

An alarming number of abused or neglected children find themselves in foster care faced with an abysmal placement rate to permanent homes. All too often these children are given a “childhood sentence” that sees them separated from their siblings and moved from foster home to foster home until they age out of the system at age 18.

This shouldn’t be happening to our children.

A story of Hope

An exciting approach to this problem has been successfully operating for over 15 years in Illinois with breakthrough results – 89% of the children achieving permanency!

It is called “Hope Meadows” and centers around a planned community designed to provide a model of foster care and adoption that protects children, offers permanency, and cultivates intergenerational relationships.

A Hope for Washington State

We are passionate about creating our own intergenerational community in Washington State. We’re calling it Hope Lights Community
